PVC and vinyl wrapped doors are a durable and easy to clean product, however there are some limitations on their use in certain applications.

It is our recommendation that all end users are made aware that if high temperatures or excessive water are present this may cause the edges to peel back, which can result in failure of the product.

Areas for particular caution are:

If doors are fitted adjacent to ovens, always ensure that they are shielded from heat seepage by using heat protection strips. Doors must not be fitted any less than 750mm above a hob. Contact your supplier if you require more information.

Never use appliances that generate heat, such as a toaster, directly underneath a PVC edged or vinyl wrapped door. Never allow concentrated steam (e.g. From a kettle) to be released directly underneath a PVC edged or vinyl wrapped door.

Never allow a PVC edged or vinyl wrapped door to become saturated with water.

For cleaning use a damp cloth and a non-abrasive domestic cleaner, do NOT use bleach.

With the correct care your doors will give you many years of trouble free service.
